Jeremy Jacobs

Director
A Kansas City and St. Louis based performer, Jeremy is a “musical theatre chameleon,” as one of his professors so lovingly put it. He is a music director and pianist primarily, but loves performing onstage as well. He currently is a student at Webster University, in St. Louis, studying Music Direction for Musical Theatre, where he is a full- tuition Presidential Scholar. Alongside his studies, Jeremy is Producing/Marketing Intern for STAGES St. Louis and a musical theatre instructor in their Academy for the Performing Arts. He is the Artistic Director and Music Director for Ping! A Performing Arts Collective and the ChordLoks, Webster's first A Cappella group. On the side he music directs countless productions in the St. Louis and Kansas City areas. His favorite credits include Evita (Trentino Music Festival - Mezzano, Italy), Daddy Long Legs (Spinning Tree Theatre), Falsettos (Faust Theatre), The Last Five Years (Webster Conservatory), Little Shop of Horrors (The Culture House), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Ping!) , and Xanadu (Music Theatre Kansas City). Jeremy would like to extend a huge thank you to the cast and crew of Big Fish for working through his big ideas with him and presenting this perfectly flawed story alongside him. He needs to thank his parents for being the two most perfect people on the planet. And finally, he would be nothing without his Heavenly Father - all of this is for Him.
